bbDepending on what you’re expecting, you’ll love it or hate it.

If you purchase it with the intention of teaching your child to read, you’ll be disappointed.  On the other hand, if you purchase it with the intention of an interactive Bible experience, in which the child is able to participate in the storytelling, you’ll be satisfied.

The “Look, I’m Reading” portion takes place in pictures.  Rather than the child reading words, they wait for their turn to say words associated with small images.  It makes for great participation and biblical learning, but isn’t a great way to learn to read.

Great illustrations, acceptable age-appropriate story-telling.

I received this as an ARC.
